If you are not a ‘balanced’ owner you may need to purchase a second partner for your first choice – not that they will disagree (most unpleasant for the Libran) but for ‘balance’ it will not be another Libran.
This dog will be the doorstop between arguments in the family. Leaping on both of you in turn to pacify the opponents, he will then circle, barking madly, in a last ditch attempt to divert your attention from the disagreement. Both sparing partners will then probably send him packing while they get on with the argument. The Libran dog will find such treatment an experience that will warrant internalising, making him nervous, even ill. They may even tend to moroseness, or resentfulness. Coaxing the beloved Libran from his despair (after you have resolved the argument) will bring forth joy in abundance — he is most forgiving.
Meals are always enjoyed but never make the mistake of offering them a choice — this is a strenuous effort and requires a great deal of coping with.
Librans like small gatherings, therefore intimate gatherings are his forte — no large crowds, no big dog shows, — he may lose his nerve, and nip.
Once he knows you know him, he will do everything to please, except make up his mind.
If discussing issues with him, it is important to give a ‘balanced’ perspective, even in politics. Always be the decision maker (a walk or a swim, the choice is YOURS).
Rules of owing a Libra Dog:
• Buy another companion for him (but NOT a Libra).
• Make decisions for him but never let him know that the choice has been yours.
• Give small dinner parties.
• Don’t enter him in the National Dog show.
• Never quarrel in front of him.
• Never make bad decisions between him and the family cat.
Libra Health Problems: Skin, kidneys, emotional problems.
Compatible Owners: Gemini, Aquarius, Aries.
THE LIBRA CAT
These felines realise (at a very early age), that their natural charisma can lead to great rewards. They can also provide a synthetic variation of ‘charisma’ and if you require a balanced, happy relationship you will have to ignore that there could be a genuine or synthetic variety offered at any given time.
Recognising the con tricks will definitely give you an advantage, but not for long, as he susses out your tactics. These cats disdain the litter tray — why should that be used when there’s the great outside — natural is best!
A straight direct stare (doesn’t work) followed by a ‘look as tho’ he might, but has he? (which gets you sweating) and finally to a ‘well get outside, don’t be long and don’t get wet’.. He shoots back inside and turns on the charm. On the other hand his needs could be quite genuine. If you never underestimate him, take him for granted or play chicken… he will be a great cat to own.
